Claudia's Quilt
I am in a quilt group called the "Sammamish Sew What's".
When the husband of one of our members passed away , we all made her blocks for a quilt. Then I put it together.

The embroidery and applique blocks all turned out so sweet. It is bright and cheerful.

Claudia's quilt turned out really nicely. How could she help but love it? Such a special gift from her wonderful friends. Did you each make an appliqued block and an embroidered one? The border material really tied it all together beautifully. When we saw the striped fabric we decided it was for the binding. However, we were surprised to see it framing the blocks. They picked the right person to put it all together (or she volunteered).Good job.
